Window & Door Installer

Starting Pay $22-27/hour depending on experience
Full-time position for Window & Door based in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Job Duties

Perform window and door installations using trade skills such as carpentry, trim carpentry, and construction.
Adhere to all company and local installation standards and procedures
Accurately document project details and submit all necessary paperwork and photos.
Perform work in service department as needed.

Responsibilities

Superior communication and interpersonal skills with English fluency
Respect customer’s property and leave the work area cleaner than when you arrived.
Inform customers about the functionality, care, and upkeep of their new installations.
Work with supervisor to secure correct materials

Requirements

Proven experience installing windows and doors in south Florida
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently, while also taking direction from the Service and Installation departments.
Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy items.
Ability to use power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent customer service, support, and communication skills with
English fluency are critical.
This position requires a valid Florida driver’s license with few to zero points.
Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift heavy products including but not limited to hurricane rated windows and doors.

Benefits: Paid time off

Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

Previous experience: 2+ Years of carpentry, trim carpentry, construction, or in-home renovation
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Language: Bilingual – English fluency/Spanish (Preferred but not required)
